Produced by Bahco Tools of Sweden, they are a little more expensive than other makes, but I can guarantee that they will be the only pair of cutters you ever need to buy!
Sharp enough to cleanly cut the smallest diameter gut or carbon strings, but hard enough to cut large bass wires with hardened piano wire cores.
Very compact & light weight at only125mm long ... and very comfortable to use one handed with a spring which makes them self-opening.
We have used these string cutters in our own workshops for the last 30 years, cutting many thousands of gut & wire strings, and they are still cutting beautifully.
