Sanderson & Taylor Harps and Brown & Bruce Harps, made in Edinburgh during the 1970s and 1980s were originally strung with 'Pedal Heavy Gauge' gut strings. However, due to their age and fairly delicate construction, many players now choose to string their harps with 'Lever/Light Gauge' gut strings to prolong the life of the harp ( ... it does not work well to mix heavy & light gauge strings on one harp ). The prices of full sets of Gut and/or Bass Wires include a 10% discount.
