Pedal Harp Standard Savarez Carbon
The Savarez KF Carbon strings ( actually Fluorocarbon ) produce a very bright tone compared to traditional gut.
Some pedal harp players substitute their lowest gut strings for Savarez Carbon strings in the 5th Octave, feeling that the brighter tone creates a better transition between the gut and bass wires strings. New Carbon strings initially stretch a great deal and take longer to settle in than gut strings ... however, once settled in, the Carbon strings become very stable and have good longevity.
Both the string diameters and string lengths supplied are listed below. These string lengths will mostly provide two spare strings for your harp.
