Mini Long Nose Pliers with smooth jaws which are ideal to assist with harp stringing
We have selected and adapted these mini pliers so that they are ideal for holding strings without sharp edges which can damage the string.
We find that small pliers can be very helpful to assist with the dreaded job of tying string knots! With both gut strings ( which you do not want to kink above the knot ) or carbon strings ( which are remarkably stiff and unwilling to bend into a knot ), a small pair of long nose pliers is very helpful.
Also invaluable for many tricky stringing jobs ... when you have to feed a small string through semitone levers ... or feed a string into a tuning peg hole ... or to help remove a jammed string end which has become stuck in the soundboard.
About the cost of one harp string ... a highly recommended tool which will last you forever!
