These are the original Green Felt Washers used for stringing Norris Harps ...
A felt washer under each string knot simply ensures that you never get a loose string end buzzing against the inside of the soundboard. Not essential ... but a wise precaution against possible buzzing.
These washers are also used under the original Semitone Blades on very old Norris Harps.
